In this lesson we will focus on the prepositions "CIVARINDA" and "ÇEVRESİNDE", both meaning "around or nearby".
As for rules of declension, see the previous lessons on other prepositions.

- Sinmanın cıvarında/çevresinde ne var? : What is aound/nearby the cinema?
- Sinemanın cıvarında/çevresinde çok adam ve çocuk var: There are many men and children around/nearby the cinema
- Okulun cıvarında/çevresinde ne var?: What is around/nearby th school?
- Okulun cıvarında/çevresinde çocuklar var: There are children around/nearby the school

VOCABULARY/SÖZLÜK

Cıvarında/çevresinde : Around, nearby, in the vicinity of

Cıvarında and çevresinde are interchangeable and can be used both with the same meaning.
